i held a James Arthur fellowship at NYU CCPP Center for Cosmology and Particle Physics for the past three years, and I am currently working both at the astro department and at NYU CUSP, the Center for Urban Science and Progress

my interest is mainly in inference from astronomical time series, particularly in computationally limited astronomical problems, applied to the outer solar system, and to supernova physics, as well as in high speed photometry and lucky imaging instrumentation and developement.

at CUSP I get the chance to use my data skills in socially relevant environments. As it turns out, astronomical techniques, like photometry, can be applied to city enironments quite naturally!

I am the co-chair, together with Ashish Mahabal, of the LSST Transients and Variable Stars Collaboration. If you are interested in joining please fill in an application here
