04/12/2017HEP SeminarAndrea TesiCompositeness at the TeV scale [ -- Description ]

Description: After an introduction to Composite Higgs models, I will discuss the phenomenological aspects of a few concrete realizations at the TeV scale. I will comment on the implications for LHC - where we expect to see composite resonances and Higgs couplings deviations - and constraints from flavor physics and fermion mass generation. I will conclude the talk discussing briefly how we can make use of effective field theory approach at LHC to investigate the composite nature of the Higgs boson in the pessimistic scenario where no new resonances are within the reach of the LHC.
