, A Quantum Al-Khawarizm for Spacetime: A Workshop on von Neumann Algebras in Quantum Field Theory & Gravity (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

-- Abstract: The topic of Von Neumann Algebras has attracted a lot of attention in recent years as a promising language for studying the interplay between spacetime and matter. The goal of this workshop is to discuss the recent advances on the topic, with a focus on the role of von Neumann algebras in holography and quantum gravity. The workshop features both pedagogical and technical talks by leading experts in the field.
