I am generally interested in strongly correlated systems and emergent phenomena with an emphasis on field theoretic and holographic approaches. My research so far has covered a spectrum of problems from the analysis of local and global anomalies in effective theories and their consequences regarding dualities to the holographic and algebraic study of non-relativistic conformal symmetries and embeddings of Schrodinger geometries in string theory. I am currently working on two different subjects. The first is a holographic attempt at modeling systems with Schrodinger symmetries via a top down approach starting from mABJM. The other is analyzing the properties of quantum Hall systems using the new idea of composite Dirac fermions.
